Our little Christmas Tree is up and it's looking good! My camera has packed in though so no photos of my tree. Some last minute late night shopping in Brent Cross tonight and I'm officially done :o) It's lovely and sunny in London today, it's that slightly yellow, orange glow from the sun that you only get on cold winter days, bring on the gloes, hat and scarf I'm off out to enjoy the weather.

My family are doing Secret Santa and I have my present bought for my Sister (bought and wrapped may I add) but think I might break the rules and get something small for my other sister and brother...naughtly or very nice? I think nice, I think there are some things on my website that my sister might like, my brother is a different story. He likes singing in the bath so, could spend an hour soaking and singing so a bottle of manly bubble bath it is then.

That's all for today I'm off to Hampstead!

To Fringe or Not to Fringe

I think I am over 'my fringe' but it's just so hard to grow out and I aways just grab the scissors and chop it again. The aim for 2010 is to let it grow out and resist the urge to fringe cut on a Friday night (mainly when I feeling a little bit bored)
This post is really just a note to myself to serve as a reminder...lets hope it works or I'll have a fringe until I'm 60

Christmas Shopping Treat

I'm beginning to feel that strange panic sensation that I only ever get around December, christmas cards to post, presents to get and limited time to get it all.

So to ease this festive panic we are offering free delivery on all orders until midnight Sunday 13th December, and you can do everthing from the comfort of home :o)

Monday 23 November 2009

I have officially started my Christmas shopping on the premise that once it's done it's done! Plus I'm getting a flight on Christmas Eve so that cuts out the last minute crazy shopping which can only be a good thing :o)

I live by the motto that you can never have enough pretty, lovely bracelets.....or bags, shoes and scarves for that matter. Here are some of the bracelets available on the website all at really great prices.

www.robinandrose.com is live!!!

So after a few very long days, weeks and months of hard work I have finally launched the website. It's all been a bit nerve wracking & exciting but hopefully worth all the effort, the real work begins here!

As an introductory offer, there is free P&P on all orders over £25 to the UK and Ireland. Every little helps when it comes to Christmas shopping. I think it's time for (another) well earned coffee.

Look What I Found!

After months of researching and sourcing, the launch of Robin & Rose is ever closer. A few final changes, additions and it's all systems go.

I've posted some images to give you an sneek preview of the goodies that will be on offer. Most of my products were sourced at various trade shows in London, beautiful stationary made on recycled paper in the UK, pretty hats and scarves & jewellery boxes from Denmark and a very exciting find from Down Under, in the form of Mozi products. Pretty soaps in origami packaging, travel candles & wash bags
!

The best bit is the are all very affordable, so you'll even have money left over for all those Christmas parties.....which reminds me that there will be a selection of cute party clutch bags too.

The Beginning......

It all began last winter with a book, 'The Goddess Experience' by Gisele Scanlon. Her quest for happiness in the guise of a beautifully designed book asks that question "what makes you happy?"

After working in the fashion industry for 9 years and with the big 30 looming, this book made me realise that it was time to do something for myself, something that made me totally happy, after all life is too short.

Armed with my moleskine notebook, copious cups of coffee, rich tea, love hearts and months of research I'm almost ready to launch my online lifestyle boutique. As if that wasn't daunting enough, I'm delving into the world of blogging to track the ups and downs of being my own boss and creating my own little 'Goddess Experience'

Welcome to the world of online shopping, life in London and happiness!
